Kurbo (“we”, “us”, or “our”) protects and respects the privacy of all visitors to our website, kurbo.dev, and the customers of our web software and services. This Pivacy Policy explains to you how we collect, use, disclose and protect users’ information as a part of the Service. By using our Services in any way, you agree to comply with this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service.

Data collection

When you use our Service, we collect various types of personal information. We don’t do this for fun, but for the purposes listed below. This includes the information that you provide by us by using our Services, and information from outside services. Personal information does not include information that’s anonymized or aggregated. By this, we mean information that does not contain personally identifying information.

Account information: email adress, hashed password
Service usage information: Site URL, API keys, tokens.
Payment information: We process payments through Stripe. They will collect your e-maildadress and payment method information (credit card or other method). You can read Stripe’s privacy policy.
Interaction information: correspondence with us
Log information: user agent, IP addresses, device data (such as type, OS, device ID, browser version, locale and language settings used), approximate geolocation, referring site, the date and time of access
Transactional information: product details, purchase price, transaction date

Kurbo does not ask for any personal information, unless we truly need it for our business.

Data Use

We use your personale information solely for the following purposes:

To provide our Services. For example: to set up your account, provide support and process your payment.
To communicate with you. For example: you receive an e-mail when your order is completed, to give you access to your account and the theme items.
To support you. If you have questions you can e-mail support@kurbo.dev. We will respond to your questions or issues.
To improve services. For example, we may analyze how you interact with our Services, so we can improve the current Services.

We never sell any of your personal information to third parties.

Data Retention

We retain personal information while we need it to provide you with our Services, or as required under the applicable law.

We may have to share your personal information with other parties.

Share with service providers. We may share information with third party service providers. We do this if they need the information in order to provide their services to us. For example: Stripe will process our payments and needs some of your personal information to provice this service to us.
Legal and regulatory requirements: We will in some cases disclose personal information in response to lawful requests by public authorities. We do this only to meet national security or law enforcement requirements.
Business transfers. If Kurbo ever goes through a business transition we may have to share your personal information as a part of the deal. For example: if we would merge our company with another company, or sell it. In any case, we would inform you of the data share.
As a part of our installation service. We would have to share your personal information with hosting and domain providers to provide our installation service.
With your consent. We may disclose your personal information for other important purposes. However, we will always ask for your consent.

Regardless of the measures and efforts taken by Kurbo, we cannot and do not guarantee the absolute protection and security of your personal information, or any other user content you upload, publish or otherwise share with Hostinger or anyone else.

We therefore encourage you to set strong passwords for your user account and avoid providing us or anyone with any sensitive information of which you believe its disclosure could cause you substantial or irreparable harm.

User rights

Be aware that you are sending information to Italy, Europe, where our servers are located. The European Union has a special privacy law, the GDPR. This law gives you the right to:

Delete your personal information, when it is no longer needed to provide our services.

Deleting your account

If you want us to delete your account and all your personal information, you can do so by contacting us at team@kurbo.dev. By deleting your account, you lose all access to your purchased theme files.
