Getting Started with Your Pro-02 Schema
Thank you for choosing the Kurbo Pro-02 theme! Our themes are designed to integrate seamlessly with Directus CMS. This guide will walk you through the essential first steps to configure your site and get it live. Let’s dive in!
At first glance, your new website might look a bit empty—don’t worry! The Pro-02 schema is built to guide you through the process of making your brand stand out. If you feel overwhelmed, we recommend following these steps in order:
Configure Your Site Settings
The first step is to personalize your site identity. Navigate to Settings and update the following:
- Site Name: Enter your business or personal name.
- Logo: Upload your logo. Pro Tip: Use a square image so it can double as your favicon (the icon that appears in browser tabs).
- Site Description: Add a brief tagline about what you do.
- Social Media: Link your profiles to stay connected with your audience.

Add Your Contact Information
Update your address, zip code, city, country, email, and phone number.
Note: Our theme is flexible. If you leave a field blank (for example, if you don't want to share a physical address), that field simply won't appear on the site. At the very least, we recommend adding an email so clients can reach out!
Create Your Homepage
Your homepage is currently a blank canvas. Let’s bring it to life:
- Title & Slug: Give it a strong title. Your slug will typically be
/home. - Content: Add a compelling subtitle, a high-quality featured image, and your main text. Use H2 and H3 tags to break up the text and keep it readable.
- SEO: Don't forget to fill in the Meta Title and Meta Description. This is what users see on Google and in their browser tabs!
- When you are done, go to settings and select your newly created homepage!

Set Up Your Main Pages
Follow the same process to create the pages with a special template. These pages are defined in the source code and require special setup.
The path/slug of these pages can be changed by using a different slug and selecting the page at Settings -> Pages -> (the page you want to change). By default, these will be available at yourdomain.com/<slug>. For instance: Your contact page will be at yourdomain.com/contact unless you change it.
| Page | Slug | What to fill in? |
| Services | services | Add an introductory text explaining your unique approach and workflow. |
| Projects | projects | This serves as the "hub" for your portfolio. Add a title, slug, featured image, and a brief introduction. |
| Contact | contact | Create a dedicated space for inquiries with a clear title and a welcoming featured image. |
