Step 1: Install the Directus Schema

Before you can use your theme, you need to install the schema into your Directus instance. The schema creates the content structure (collections, fields, and relationships) that your theme needs.

Using the Web Installer

1. Go to your account and find your theme
2. Click "Install Schema" or use the installation tool
3. Enter your Directus URL and admin token
4. Follow the installation wizard
5. Wait for the schema to install (usually takes 30-60 seconds)

Step 2: Verify Installation

Check that everything is working:

• Your directus instance loads without errors
• You can see example content
• The admin panel shows the new collections
